We offer over 8,000 existing tooling sizes for glass preforms using the pressed powder method, in diameters varying from 1mm – 75mm with 1 hole up to 128 holes. For our fibre optic preforms we can wire erode tooling to produce any design you may require. We can also silk-screen preforms with virtually any design in our unique high temperature glass ink.
Customer’s individual requirements can be accommodated within our own ‘in-house’ tooling facilities.
Exports
We have over 60 years’ experience of international markets and export 80% of our preforms worldwide, with production in excess of 1.5 million pieces per week. Our vast experience working with customs and shipping agents means that we can arrange the export of our products or work within your delivery framework.
Small Scale Production
If you are a new customer who requires small scale pre-production tests we can also assist. Our research and development department are always keen to take on new work. We can offer new tooling with samples for very competitive rates.
When it comes to sintered glass preforms, we can offer the full package for both small and large scale projects.
Our preforms are made from various glass powders, the majority of which are produced on site to maintain quality levels. We will also mill, process and press a customer’s material if it complies with our ROHS policy.
