Mansol is committed to improving and widening our range of products and services thus is continually investing in new technologies and machinery.
Longer-term projects are undertaken with R & D consultancy company, STC Optronics, with whom we have already successfully completed two EEDA funded research projects. The first, investigating new methods of lamp sealing for the lighting industry, and the second developing glass pastes for printing and dispensing which has lead to the development of a production process for automated legend printing on connector preforms.
Several new joint development projects are planned for the future including looking at low temperature lead free glasses, new binder systems, and micro-presses for the production of high precision micro preforms. Mansol is also a member of Lucideon research.
